Andrew Bonar war ein schottischer presbyterianischer Pastor und theologischer Schriftsteller des 19. Jahrhunderts, der nach dem Kirchenbruch von 1843 vor allem in Glasgow wirkte. Er trat für eine ausgeprägte Gebetsfrömmigkeit sowie Erweckung ein, verfasste einen Kommentar zum Buch Levitikus und geriet zeitweise wegen seiner Unterstützung für Dwight L. Moody in die Kritik strengerer Calvinisten. Heutigen Bibellesern ist er vor allem durch seine Schriften und Tagebücher als Zeugnis einer christozentrischen und gebetszentrierten Frömmigkeit bekannt.
