Dwight Lyman Moody (1837–1899) war ein US-amerikanischer Evangelist und Gründer von Bildungs- und Verlagseinrichtungen mit Chicago als zentralem Wirkungsort. Er prägte die frühe Massenevangelisation durch eine lebensnahe Verkündigung der Gnade Gottes, sah sich jedoch auch Kritik an theologischer Vereinfachung sowie seiner Duldung von Rassentrennung bei Veranstaltungen in den US-Südstaaten ausgesetzt.
