Abraham Kuyper (1837–1920) war ein niederländischer reformierter Theologe, Publizist und Politiker, der von 1901 bis 1905 als Ministerpräsident seines Landes amtierte. Er prägte den Neokalvinismus sowie die Lehre von der Souveränität aller Lebensbereiche unter Christus, wobei sein Kurs zu Kirchenspaltungen führte und Teile seines Werks zeitgenössische rassistische Vorurteile spiegeln.
