Joseph Kardinal Cardijn (1882–1967) war ein belgischer katholischer Priester, Sozialreformer und Kardinal, der vor allem im Großraum Brüssel wirkte. Er gründete die Christliche Arbeiterjugend und prägte den methodischen Dreischritt „Sehen – Urteilen – Handeln“, um die Würde von Industriearbeitern zu stärken und das Laienapostolat zu fördern.
