Friedrich Christoph Oetinger war ein deutscher evangelisch-lutherischer Theologe und Prälat im 18. Jahrhundert, der im württembergischen Pietismus wirkte. Er verband biblische Auslegung mit Naturphilosophie und Theosophie und stellte die leibliche Dimension der Schöpfung in den Mittelpunkt seines Denkens. Heutigen Bibellesern begegnet er als Vertreter einer ganzheitlichen Schöpfungstheologie, dessen Hinwendung zu spekulativer Mystik und zur Allversöhnung allerdings wiederholt kirchliche Kritik auslöste.
