Corrie ten Boom
Die niederländische Schriftstellerin und Evangelistin Corrie ten Boom rettete während des Zweiten Weltkriegs in Haarlem verfolgte Menschen vor dem Holocaust und überlebte die Gefangenschaft im Konzentrationslager Ravensbrück. Bekannt wurde sie durch ihren autobiografischen Bericht „Die Zuflucht“ sowie durch ihren weltweiten Dienst, in dem sie Vergebung und Vertrauen auf Gott auch angesichts extremen Leids betonte.
