Cyprian von Karthago (ca. 200–258) war Rechtsgelehrter, wurde um 248 Bischof im heutigen Tunesien und zählt zu den prägenden lateinischen Kirchenvätern der Frühkirche, der unter Kaiser Valerian das Martyrium erlitt.
