Eta Linnemann

Eta Linnemann (1926–2009) war eine deutsche evangelische Neutestamentlerin, die nach ihrer Professur in Braunschweig später als theologische Dozentin in Indonesien lehrte. Als ehemalige Schülerin Rudolf Bultmanns vollzog sie Ende der 1970er-Jahre nach einem Bekehrungserlebnis einen radikalen Bruch mit der historisch-kritischen Exegese, widerrief ihre bisherigen wissenschaftlichen Schriften und bekämpfte die akademische Bibelkritik fortan scharf. Während die universitäre Theologie ihr eine dogmatische und vereinfachende Haltung vorwarf, dient sie im evangelikalen Raum bis heute als akademisch geschulte Verteidigerin der historischen Zuverlässigkeit und Autorität der Bibel.
