David Dickson (1583–1663) war ein schottischer Theologe, Gemeindepfarrer in Irvine sowie Universitätsprofessor in Glasgow und Edinburgh. Als führender Kopf der Covenanter-Bewegung prägte er die reformierte Föderaltheologie sowie die Seelsorgelehre und geriet durch seine Ablehnung königlicher Kirchenhoheit mehrfach in Amtsverluste und Verbannung.
