Larry Norman (1947–2008) war ein US-amerikanischer Musiker und Produzent, der vor allem in Kalifornien und Oregon wirkte und als maßgeblicher Pionier des christlichen Rock aus der Jesus-People-Bewegung hervorging. Er verband eine radikale persönliche Nachfolge Jesu mit provokanten Texten gegen Heuchelei und kirchliche Erstarrung, stieß damit jedoch früh auf Widerstand traditioneller Gemeinden. Heute gilt sein Werk als Meilenstein christlicher Popkultur, wird aber zugleich im Licht erbitterter Streitigkeiten mit Weggefährten und Vorwürfen zwischenmenschlicher Manipulation wahrgenommen.
