Notker Wolf (1940–2024) war ein deutscher Benediktiner, der als Erzabt von Sankt Ottilien und von 2000 bis 2016 als weltweiter Abtprimas seines Ordens in Rom wirkte. Bekannt wurde er als Bestsellerautor und E-Gitarre spielender „Rock-Abt“, der sich wiederholt auch streitbar in gesellschaftliche und kirchliche Debatten einmischte. Für Bibelleser heute steht er für den Versuch, benediktinische Prinzipien wie Maß, Gelassenheit und Gottvertrauen pragmatisch in den modernen Alltag zu übersetzen.
