Ludwig Hofacker (1798–1828) war ein württembergischer Pfarrer und ein zentraler Repräsentant der pietistischen Erweckungsbewegung des 19. Jahrhunderts. Bekannt wurde er durch seine existenzielle, buß- und kreuzeszentrierte Verkündigung, deren gedruckte Predigtsammlungen eine breite Leserschaft erreichten, von Zeitgenossen der theologischen Aufklärung jedoch als einseitig kritisiert wurden. Für Bibelleser steht er heute für eine kompromisslose Auslegung, die persönliche Leiderfahrungen mit dem Ernst von Sünde und Gnade verbindet.
