Adolph Kolping (1813–1865) war ein deutscher katholischer Priester, Publizist und Sozialreformer, der im 19. Jahrhundert vor allem im Rheinland wirkte. Er begründete das katholische Gesellenvereinswesen zur sozialen sowie religiösen Unterstützung junger Handwerker, stieß mit seinem paternalistisch geprägten Ansatz jedoch auf Kritik der säkularen Arbeiterbewegung.
