Sadhu Sundar Singh (1889–1929) war ein indischer christlicher Wanderprediger, der im Gewand eines asketischen Bettelmönchs vor allem in Nordindien und der Himalayaregion wirkte. Er stand für eine von westlichen Konfessionen gelöste, kontextualisierte Glaubenspraxis und persönliche Mystik, sah sich jedoch im sogenannten „Sadhustreit“ der 1920er Jahre auch Zweifeln an der historischen Glaubwürdigkeit mancher seiner Wunder- und Reiseberichte ausgesetzt. Für Bibelleser veranschaulicht sein Wirken den Versuch einer nicht-kolonialen Inkulturation des Evangeliums sowie eine radikale Leidens- und Gebetsnachfolge.
