Klaus Berger (1940–2020) war ein deutscher Theologe und Neutestamentler, der von 1974 bis 2006 als Professor an der Evangelisch-Theologischen Fakultät der Universität Heidelberg lehrte. Er verband historische Exegese mit einer entschiedenen Verteidigung biblischer Glaubensinhalte gegen theologische Liberalisierung, sorgte jedoch 2006 für Kontroversen, als bekannt wurde, dass er zeit seines Lehramts katholisch geblieben war. Für heutige Bibelleser bieten seine zahlreichen Schriften eine anschauliche, streitbare Auslegung, die die Zuverlässigkeit neutestamentlicher Berichte hervorhebt.
