Jürgen Moltmann (1926–2024) war ein deutscher evangelisch-reformierter Theologe und langjähriger Professor für Systematische Theologie an der Universität Tübingen. Bekanntheit erlangte er durch seine „Theologie der Hoffnung“ und die Konzeption eines mitleidenden Gottes, wobei seine Thesen zur Allversöhnung und seine Politisierung des Glaubens auch auf Widerspruch stießen.
