Ulrich Wilckens (1928–2021) war ein deutscher evangelisch-lutherischer Theologe, Professor für Neues Testament und Bischof in der Nordelbischen Kirche. Er prägte die Theologie durch grundlegende Kommentare zum Römerbrief, eine eigene Übersetzung des Neuen Testaments sowie durch sein Eintreten für die theologische Verbindlichkeit der Schrift gegenüber einer rein rationalistischen Bibelkritik. Heutigen Bibellesern begegnet er als Exeget, der universitäre Forschung mit kirchlicher Glaubenspraxis verband, während seine konservativen ethischen und methodischen Positionen auch innerkirchlich auf Widerspruch stießen.
